Lavender Terrace is a friendly and relaxed bed and breakfast in a quiet Arrowtown location. The guest bedroom has its own bathroom and comfortable queen-sized bed with quality linens and electric blanket and a private entrance opening to a lovely garden. Guests can relax in the garden or in the cosy guest lounge with complimentary coffee/tea and biscuits, fridge and TV. An ample continental breakfast is included in the tariff and can be enjoyed, at a time that suits you, in the sunny breakfast room or in the garden. Wireless internet access and laundry facilities are available at no extra charge.
Historic town centre is an easy 10-minute, picturesque stroll away. Here you can explore main street, courtyards and arcades with restaurants serving international cuisine, quaint cafes, a boutique cinema/bookstore, art galleries, and a variety of shops selling New Zealand’s finest in clothing, arts and crafts, gold and jade jewellery, souvenirs, giftware, wool products and wine.
If activity is what you’re after, Lavender Terrace is surrounded by world-famous golf courses and numerous walking trails. Additionally, Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world, is only a 20-minute scenic drive away. The Southern Lakes District offers just about every variety of outdoor activity that you could possibly imagine, such as bungy jumping, jet boating, paragliding, river rafting and zipline tours.
If a slower pace is your style, grab some quiet time in the garden, stroll through the Chinese Village, take a horse and carriage ride through town, picnic beside Lake Hayes or hop on a wine tour bus. (See activities)
