A charming cottage situated in the old part of Paxton, village of Peace with a delightful garden, unusually, not connected to the house but a few yards down the lane!-BBQ and garden furniture is available in the warmer months.
The kitchen area is newly equipped and fitted with granite worktops, dishwasher , hob, oven, toaster, microwave , espresso machine and kettle. The lounge area is newly carpeted and comfortably furnished. Sit on the leather sofa and watch the flat screen tv with freeview and Bluray DVD/CD player. A stylish feature fire is also wall mounted. The dining table is laid in readiness for the guests’ arrival. A Welcome Basket of Border Specialities such as local honey and chutney, homemade jam and mustard and tasty locally made biscuits is provided. Tea, ground coffee, milk and free range eggs are supplied. Wine is available to buy for that cosy night at home.
The staircase leads from the lounge area to the first floor where the comfortable double bedroom is located. There is a good range of cupboards and drawers for storage. A second wall-mounted television with freeview is provided in the bedroom. The en-suite bathroom has a feature towel rail to provide lots of warmth. There is a full size bath and separate shower cubicle. Off street parking for one car is provided. One well behaved pet is welcome at no extra charge. There is an excellent CAMRA listed pub in the village which serves excellent bar and restaurant meals.
